Rhea announces 2022 scholarship winner!
Congratulations to Emily Sample, the winner of Rhea’s 2022 Scholarship!
Every year, our employees’ kids who are in college or college-bound can participate in the Rhea scholarship program. Each participating student submits an essay on a specific theme, with the winning essay earning both a scholarship sent directly to the student’s school and a $500 hand money prize.
The 2022 Essay Topic was Sustainable Development. We asked our applicants, “What is considered sustainable development? Discuss different sustainable building trends/designs and the pros and cons of sustainable development.“
This years winner, Emily Sample, highlighted some success stories of sustainable architecture around the world, which incorporate methods including rainwater recycling, green space, high efficiency utilities, recycled building materials, and built-in renewable energy production.
