An Irish Feast: Belated St. Patrick’s Celebrations

Spring is here, and it’s bringing with it the luck of the Irish!

The stretch of winter after New Year’s can drag on forever, so we decided to celebrate the arrival of springtime with a big St. Patrick’s Day potluck, complete with green Irish beer!

Our team pulled together a whole buffet of Irish and Irish American specialties, including beef and Guinness stew and corned beef and cabbage.

Desserts included shamrock cookies, homemade by president Marcy Johnson, and Irish potato candy made by engineering specialist, Liam Stubanas. Office manager Lynn Tomlinson even brought in some traditional soda bread that she made following an old family recipe straight from Ireland!

We work hard at Rhea, but it’s so important to us that we come together as a team to take a break every once in a while, too.
